JuneteenthSTL 2024
Juneteenth is a national holiday! As we commemorate this historic celebration, let’s dedicate ourselves to learning more about our shared American history but I also challenge us to educate others as well.
To this end, we invite you and would be delighted to have your organization/company partner with Bridge the Gap314 and the City of Dellwood by entering a parade Float in the 2024 Juneteenth Parade.
The parade will take place on Wednesday, June 19 and travel west from the Boys and Girls Club on West Florissant in Ferguson to the Dellwood Rec Center.
For more information please feel free to contact Twyla Lee by phone 314-529-1860 or by email Bridgethegap314@gmail.com.
Looking forward to bridging community gaps by working together.

Juneteenth to Me...
To me Juneteenth represents endless possibilities for what can be. Juneteenth to me is also a real life reminder of the bondage that a lack of access, that a lack of knowledge and a lack of communication can hold people in. Just as Juneteenth reminds me of the dangers of not knowing and how the effects of being disconnected and left behind can affect families and communities for decades. So Juneteenth to me marks the annual time where we can come together, assess and plan on how we can become more unified on uplifting not only our immediate communities but our neighboring communities as well.
